    They supply this body scrub in a generously sized plastic jar of 400g with a screw lid. I ordered for my wife and liked it so much I ordered a pot for myself.

    It has a grainy texture but goes on easily and moistens the skin as you rub it in. This one has a pleasant cedarwood scent that smells natural and not too overpowering. You massage it in a circular motion until the sugar crystals dissolve and then you wash it off. It washes off cleanly and does not contain any microplastics or other products to harm the environment.

    I tried it on my rather rough hands and was surprised that the skin felt smoother and hydrated after one application which I wasn’t expecting. It is certified organic and contains ingredients I recognise which is a definite plus but also this actually works well and doesn’t feel you are covering yourself in a rubbing compound.

    It is not cheap but if used as directed once or twice a week should last a long time and is very pleasant to use and offer excellent results.

    I have been looking at exfoliating body scrubs for a while and have tried a few of the other ‘bigger brands’ which all have fairly heavy scents and light exfoliating properties. This All Naturals sugar scrub is the opposite though as the cedarwood scent is mild and not overpowering, whilst the sugar-based scrub is harder than many.

    When you open the tub, the scrub is like a paste of sugar and takes a little effort to get the right-sized amount of scrub out. It is most definitely not a cream type. Once you start applying it and washing it over your skin, you will notice the larger sugar grains having an exfoliating effect whilst also melting. Once they have melted, it is a case of washing off in water. Initially it felt like there was a sugar syrup like coating over my skin but now feel that this is the added moisturising oils having an effect too. I found having damp skin and using it out of any other water source (point the shower away from you whilst applying it) gave the best results.

    Overall this is a good exfoliating scrub. You get a large pot for the money and the scent is not over powering. Like other reviewers have said, it is mild enough to actually make this a more unisex scent.

    This cedarwood body scrub is great, it works well, doesn’t sting, and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. I also love the smell, which is different from the usual fruity or floral fragrances used in body scrubs. It was only after I had used it for the first time that I realised the label stated that the scrub was for MEN, which was why it had a cedarwood fragrance. Well, I’m happy to say that it works on female skin too and I’ve not yet been mistaken for a man even though I don’t smell of fruit or flowers.
